Overview
The Class Agent is a conversational assistant built into Class. You ask a question in everyday language about the entities you administer, and the Class Agent retrieves the relevant records from Class, analyses them, and returns an answer.
The Class Agent is currently read-only. It cannot post transactions or run functions, for example running a Period Update.
The Class Agent can currently assist you with obtaining data for entities in your Business, and help you understand topics and concepts using the Class User Guide coverage.
The Class Agent supports your work, it does not replace it. While care has been taken to provide correct information, AI can make mistakes. Always confirm the output is correct before you rely on it or share it with a client. The Class Agent does not provide financial, tax or legal advice.
The Class Fair Use Policy applies to use of the Class Agent.
Client data is security stored in the Class infrastructure and it is managed under ISO27001 accreditation.
Roles and Permissions
The Class Agent mirrors a user's existing permissions on the Class application. Only data for the entities you already have access to in Class is visible.
All Class application roles, including read-only roles such as Auditor, have access to the Class Agent. Brand and fund restrictions are respected, so where your access is limited to particular brands or funds, the Class Agent returns data only from those entities. The Class Agent is not visible to members, beneficiaries or investor roles in Client View.
The Class Agent currently supports read-only access. It does not post transactions or perform tasks such as running a Period Update.

How many entities a question can cover
Results are always complete for each entity included in an answer.
- Where you name the entities in your question, the Class Agent uses exactly those entities. Use the @ search to add them quickly.
- Where you ask a question across your Business without naming any entities, the Class Agent covers 20 entities and notes this in its response.
- A request for your fund list always returns every fund in the Business.
For questions about specific entities, naming them gives you the most complete and the fastest answer.
