When clicking on Rollover from the previous year, nothing happened. Why?
The property has purchased some new assets during the Financial year. The assets were not added into the Depreciation Worksheet in the correct order.
Below are the correct steps to add new assets to the property
Step 1: Process Business event - Property Capital Improvement
Navigate to the Fund level > Transactions > Investment - Buy > Property Capital Improvement
- Create the Business Event under the correct property account
Step 2: Take up the Asset in the Depreciation Worksheet
Navigate to the Fund level > Investments > Depreciation worksheet
- Select the relevant property account
- Click on Create New link under the Summary of This year's Transactions.
- From the pop-up screen, enter the relevant information to set up this asset in Depreciation worksheet.
If the first step is missing, then delete the asset setup on depreciation worksheet and re-process the above steps.
