The fund has recently moved to Class. The client is in full pension phase as he/she has retired. However, after running a period update, there is a preserved component under this pension account. How should I fix this?
To resolve this issue, complete the Member Transitions information and then reprocess the period update.
Navigate to the Fund level > Members > Browse Members
- Click on the relevant member's name
- From the pop-up screen, click on Member Transitions tab
- Click on New to add the Effective Date and choose the Transition Type
- Click on Save
Navigate to the Fund level > Periodic Processing > Period Update
- Select the relevant Financial year
- Re-process the existing period update
