The Tax Agent details under section K do not match the Tax Agent details under Business Contact, for example, ABN, organisation name or Tax Agent number is different. How do I update this?
Navigate to the Fund level > Periodic Processing > Browse Tax Lodgment
- Click on the relevant Financial year
- From the Tax Lodgment for Financial Year 20XX screen, click on Annual Return link
- From the pop-up screen, go to Section K
- Click on the drop-down list to the Tax Agent
- Select the correct tax agent for this fund.
To avoid these errors in future returns, ensure that the Tax Agent details are updated via Business Contacts. Refer to our User Guide Business Contacts for further details.
