What is the New Class Experience?

It’s the start of our journey to revamp the Class user experience by introducing a fresh look/feel and provide efficiency gains by streamlining workflows.

 New features include:

1. New Search that makes it easy for users to search for & switch between different entities and look up Class menus
2. Fresh Navigation Bar & Menu layout introduces a more intuitive way to navigate the application
3. New Sidebar allows access to other Class applications like NowInfinity and Cloudoffis

How does the search save me time?  

You can switch between entities quicker, without needing to return to the Business level. You can also search for Menu items either at the Business level or the Fund level. 

You can also see the last 15 entities that you recently accessed via the search so that you can quickly switch between entities you were recently working on.

How does the search work?  

• Select between Entity or Menu search
• Type a minimum of 3 characters in the search and hit enter to initiate the search results
• By entering more characters, you will get more accurate result
• Search can includes the entity name or Fund code
• Search results are displayed based on most similar match first
• By clicking the ‘opening arrows’ icon on the right side of a search result this will open the selected item in a new browser tab
• Search will include results that 'sound like' so results will also display misspelt entity names that sound similar to the search

What do the coloured icons with the letters represent?

Search colour coded icon chip represent the entity type. The colours and letters are indicated below:

Have any of the Menus moved?

The location of each Menu remain unchanged both at the business level and fund level.

Where has the Cloudoffis shortcut moved to?

It is located in the sidebar panel displayed when you select the 9 dots icon. If you have activated Cloudoffis you will see it displayed there and you can click to access it.

Is there a quick access to NowInfinity?

Yes, this is also located in the sidebar panel displayed when you select the 9 dots icon. 

What is available under each shortcut?

1. Client view
2. Help - No changes
3. My Account - Privacy Policy, End User Licence Agreement and About Us moved to the bottom of the Sidebar

Can I search across more than one Business in Class? 

Searches are limited to entities within the Business at this stage. You can click on the My Account shortcut to change business. 

How long will the toggle to switch between New Class and original Class be available? 

The New Class Experience is the start of our journey to deliver better outcomes for our users.  We will continue to improve it over time and encourage you to raise any ideas on our feedback portal AHA!

For a period of time users will be able to continue to toggle between the existing and the New Class Experience we will let you know when this will be removed.

Can I still access Guided Walkthroughs?

The Guided Walkthroughs are available under themenu. We will be progressively rolling out new Guided Walkthroughs to assist you with learning in the near future.
