This page outlines the frequently asked questions in relation to the New Class Experience which is available for select Beta customers. This video also highlights the key aspects of the New Class Experience.
Question: What has changed with the New Class Experience?
Answer:
At Class, we are continuously making improvements so we can deliver the best experience. You will notice a toggle in top right of the application > select ‘Class BETA’. Once switched on, a fresh new look called New Class Experience will open.
You can then explore all the new features:
- The Search Bar enables you to search for any Fund Code, Fund Name and Menu Item throughout Class.
- Use the new Home icon to navigate between Fund and Business Levels
- The 9 dots menu icon will display a sidebar that provides access to NowInfinity and Cloudoffis
Question: How does Class New Experience save me time?
Answer:
We’re planning for the future, so there are certain features and efficiencies that you may not notice or currently be able to view. For example, by moving, removing and replacing elements we can help you to visually scan the screen much quicker to get to the information you require.
You can access Funds and other menu items quicker with the new search function, where you can start with just 3 characters. You have quicker access to other functions and products.
This is just the first iteration of the New Class Experience where we intend to make your life easier to complete tasks, scan information quicker and prompt you for important tasks.
Question: How does the search bar work?
Answer:
The search bar enables a user to choose which fund they want to look at as well as quickly access menu items at Business and Fund levels.
- Type a minimum of 3 characters in the search bar to initiate the search results menu.
- By entering more characters, you will get more accurate results
- The search results have 3 categories, Fund Code, Fund Name and Menu Item.
- All search results are displayed in alphabetical order.
- By clicking the ‘opening arrows’ icon on the right side of a search result will open the selected item in a new browser tab.
Searching for third level items is restricted to the last menu item at a fund level. For example, if you search for ‘Period updates’ at the fund level it will open the Period Updates screen.
Question: Will there be an integration directly with NowInfinity?
Answer:
The side menu displayed when you select the 9 dots icon currently contains a link to the home page where you can login.

Question: Where has the Cloudoffis Icon moved to?
Answer:
If your business is eligible for the Cloudoffis Lite Integration, the icon will appear in the side panel at Business Level and Fund Level by selecting the 9 dots menu icon. If you are in the Beta phase, the Icon has been temporarily removed, you can get access through the Trial Balance of the fund.
Question: How long will the toggle to switch between New Class and Old Class Ltd be available?
Answer:
The New Class Experience is the start of our journey to deliver better outcomes for our customers. We have taken this first step using customer feedback and we will continue to improve it over time through more feedback from our clients.
Eventually, the New Class Experience will replace the existing look/feel. Until such time, Customers will be able to toggle between the existing and the new experience.
Question: Can I search across more than one business in Class?
Answer:
Yes, you can search across different businesses in Class. You will need to have access to multiple businesses to harness this functionality.
Question: When I search I get a duplicate Fund code?
Answer:
The duplicate fund code would be because you have two fund codes that are identical within multiple Class Businesses.

Question: I am unable to view the guided walkthroughs even when I have the toggle off – why is that?
Answer:
Guided walkthroughs are currently unavailable for any customers that are part of the Class BETA regardless of the state of the toggle switch. Our plan is to update the guided walks over time and re-introduce them. If you would like to leave the Class BETA cohort, please reach out to our support team and they can unsubscribe you.
Question: At Business Level is it possible to search by Tagging and Brand?
Answer:
We will be looking at expanding the search capabilities, though at this point in time you can search Menu Items at the Business Level.

Question: Which Browsers support the New Class Experience?
Answer:
Ensure you have the current version of browser currently supported by Class. Always ensure we have the latest version of a browser Supported by Class refer to our minimum hardware and software requirements.
