Overview
SMSF Compliance Audits is a specialist SMSF audit service provider, delivering independent, onshore audits to ensure funds meet ATO and SIS compliance requirements. Their services include comprehensive SMSF audits, consulting, and support to help clients navigate complex superannuation regulations.
Integration
SMSF Compliance Audits integrates seamlessly with Class, enabling accountants and administrators to streamline the entire SMSF audit process. Through this integration, business and fund data can be securely imported directly from Class into SMSF Compliance Audits web application called Assertion.
How to establish the integration
- Log into Assertion application.
- Click on 'Connect' button.

This will prompt an 'authorisation required' window, click on 'Connect' button located next to Class.
If it already shows as "Connected" then your business has already been authorised and has an active connection to Class.
- You will be directed to the Class login page, if prompted login with your Class user credentials.
- Select 'Allow Access' to grant SMSF Compliance Audits to access your Class business and fund data.
- You will be redirected back and you should receive a prompt "Congratulations. You have successfully connected Class to Assertion"
Using the Assertion web application
Now that you have connected Assertion to Class, you should now be able to pull fund data from Class. Navigate to "My Firms" then click into "Integrations" and then "Import Funds".
Simply select the funds you want to import, or use the "Select All" button, and then then click "Import selected". This will create the fund record in Assertion and the fund information will be pulled from Class on a scheduled basis automatically.
You should now be able to see funds that you imported in the "My Funds" section. You can click into the fund to view the fund details.
Granting access to SMSF Compliance Audits - scopes
You will be asked to grant permission to your Class data. See API Access to Class data - Partner Application for details. The following scopes will be requested by the Assertion application:
- Read all fund information
- Access your data while you are not logged in to Class
