Issue

When processing Capital Return via Transactions > Investment - Corporate Action > Capital Return, the investment is not showing in the "Holding Account" field.

Cause

Currently, Class does not support Corporate Action events for the following investments:

• Managed Funds
• Fixed Income Investment Group Securities (FIIG)

Resolution

To resolve this issue, you will need to:

Step 1: Create the business event

Step 2: Match the transactions

Step 3: Create the Business event under the investment

Create the Business Event

Navigate to Fund Level > Transactions > Fund Income > Distribution - Cash

1. Create the Business Event under this investment, with the amount of capital return received in cash.

Match transactions

Navigate to Fund Level > Transactions > Match Transactions 

1. Match the Distribution - Cash event to Cash In transaction

Create the Business event under the investment

Navigate to Fund Level > Transactions > Fund Income > Distribution - Tax Statement

1. Create the Business event under this investment
2. Enter the date as Cash In date
3. Enter the amount into Capital Returns field
