ATO Submission  message appears :VR.ATO.SMSFAR.W00005-NULL-Ensure Gross distributions from trusts income is declared when Distributions to Beneficiaries of Trust schedule is provided

Cause:

When the Annual Return Section B the Gross Distribution Income Label M has "Null" Value,  the ATO warning message VR.ATO.SMSFAR.W00005-NULL-Ensure Gross distributions from trusts income is declared when Distributions to Beneficiaries of Trust schedule will appear in ATO Submission message.

Resolution:

This warning message prompted for you to check whether there is any distribution Income for the year even though the fund (SMSF) is under 100% retirement income stream.

If Yes, Trust Income Schedule will need to be filled in or populated and lodge to ATO

If No, Trust Income schedule should be NIL and the warning message can be ignore. There is no further action required.
