Overview
This functionality is currently in open Beta phase.
Intelligent Adjustment is an extension of Intelligent Matching, where Class Intelligence will automatically modify the payment date and/or net payment amount of the business event to the paired cash date and/or cash amount when the AI suggested matches are saved.
It is triggered via the Save AI Intelligent button on the Match Transaction screen.
Eligible & Ineligible Criteria
Intelligent Adjustment criteria: Class will only modify
- Business Events payment date to match the corresponding cash date
- Business Events net payment AUD amount to match the corresponding cash amount
- Foreign Exchange rates of Business Events in foreign currency to convert to AUD amount matching the corresponding cash amount
Intelligent Adjustment will not modify
- Cash Events
- Business Events relating to a Closed Financial year
- Business Events payment amount relating to tax or member transaction
- Business Events outside the 21 Days or $5 variance that are manually matched to cash event
- AUD amounts of Business Events sourced from SuperStream

FAQ - Intelligent Adjustment
How do I know what business event has been Adjusted?
All Business events that are automatically adjusted by AI Intelligent Match function will contain " - Modified by Class Intelligence" suffix to the event audit trail. For example "Income Announcement - Modified by Class Intelligence" indicate the Income Announcement has been automatically adjusted by Intelligent Adjustment.
Why will Intelligent Matching auto-adjust some business events and not all events?
Intelligent Adjustment is designed to automatically update simple, low‑risk business events where the outcome is clear and does not require client involvement.
Business events that need extra input, client approval or declarations are excluded to ensure accuracy and compliance. In these cases, manual review or processing is required before any adjustment can be made.
This approach helps administrators benefit from automation where it is safe and appropriate, while maintaining control over more complex or client‑dependent scenarios.
