Overview

The merge fields documented in this article can be used to save time by pre-populating Custom Reports based on existing data in Class.

DocuSign specific merge fields are compatible when using DocuSign through Class. These merge fields will auto tag key contacts that need to sign reports.

Other merge fields are all other merge fields that are supported in Class that can be used when creating Custom Reports.

Using Merge Fields

If you are using headers / footers in your Word document and wish to add merge fields to the header / footer, you will need to use << >> around the merge fields e.g. [FundName] would become <<[FundName]>>

To use a merge field, copy the information in the Field Name column including the parenthesis and ensure you paste the text only so that the formatting appears correct when you generate the Report.

DocuSign Specific Merge Fields

Pre-requisite for auto tagging of contacts and date signed when signing via Class' DocuSign integration are contacts must be set up, related with an entity and the e-mail address recorded in Class.

The Signature Block and Date Signed can be used together for different signing contacts or independently.
