Overview

The property address search feature allows you to obtain a Title Reference by placing an order using Address Search based on the property's address. Address search will incur a small additional charge in addition to the cost of a Title Search.

Ordering a Title Reference using an Address Search

Navigate to Fund Level > Investments > Property Console

1. Select the Property you wish to order a Title Search for
2. Click Title Searches
3. Click Request address search
4. Click Edit if required
5. Amend the prefilled address and select the matched address from the drop down
6. Click Save
7. Select Continue when saved successfully
8. Review the address and the fee occurred, tick the checkbox for acknowledgement
9. Click Place address order

You can select Cancel to terminate the workflow before placing the address order and you won't incur any charges.

Multiple Addresses

When there are multiple addresses returned for the property address provided for a Title Reference, the Address Search order is pending, and Continue button is enable for you to select an exact matched address. 

Confirming an exact matched address will not incur additional charges.

1. Click Continue
2. Select an exact matched address from drop down
3. Click Confirm selection

Multiple Title References

When an Address Search order is complete, all Title References related to the property address will be displayed in Address Search Orders table. 

To request Title Search for multiple Title References:

1. Enter and Save the required Title Reference to Title reference field.
2. Click Request title search
3. Order a Title Search as per instruction here

No Title Reference

When there is no title reference for the requested property address, the Address Search order status is updated as "Neutral". You can hover over the "Neutral" icon to view the message.

Address is Not an Exact Match

When there is only one address returned but it's not an exact match with the request address, the Address Search order is pending, and Continue button is enable for you to take action for the not exact matched address. 

1. Click Continue
2. View the requested address and returned address 
3. If you accept the title reference for the returned address is not an exact match, click Confirm
4. If you reject the title reference for the returned address is not an exact match, click Reject
5. If you select Confirm, the title reference will be provided on Address search order table
6. If you select Reject, the title reference won't be disclosed on Address search order table

When you reject the returned address because it is not an exact match, this order will not be charged.

Cost of an Address Search

The cost of an Address Search varies across the States a Territories in Australia. It is based on per search, not per Address or the number of Title Reference associated with the address. And the cost will be added to the monthly Class invoice in the month following a purchase. The cost below is correct as at 11th Sep 2025:

It is important to ensure that the correct address has been entered and selected for a property as orders are non-refundable if a valid address is used during an Address Search.
