This live report provides a summary of the income and expenses for a given period.

Navigate to the Entity Level > Reports > Operating Statement

1. Current Period defaults to the oldest open financial year in the entity
2. Comparatives Period defaults to the previous financial year in the entity
3. Comparatives toggle: The comparatives is toggled on by system default. You can toggle the Comparatives off to remove the comparatives column.
4. Apply button: Click apply if you have changed the date range or toggled the comparatives column
5. Print: Option to print the report as either the current view or expanded view which will show detail will all rows of data visible. 
6. Export: Options are CSV or Word
7. Drill through icon: This will open the account postings screen to view all transactions relating to that data in a new tab
8. Clicking the - or + icon:  expands or contracts the data to display more or less data

If you change the date rage displayed and navigate to another Live report this new date range will also apply to the report. 

The 'Comparatives' toggled on or off preference will be tailored for each user based on the latest usage of the live reports. This is coming from the browse caching. For example, if you toggle off 'Comparatives' in Statement of Financial Position and then navigate to Trial Balance, the 'Comparatives' is toggled off.
