Introduction
In this article, we will guide you through the Reporting Basics & Setup. It is recommended that you complete the Key Learning Modules and refer to the Key Learning Articles for more guidance and steps.
It is a good idea to have one person responsible for Maintaining Report Packages at a Business level. From a best practice perspective, we recommend this person does the following annually:
- Clone annual report packages - Change the default date range to the next financial year and save it with the Financial Year in the description.
- Update Reporting Defaults - If there are any report settings that users keep changing at a fund level you should update this at the
- Remove old reports- Remove reports that are 3 years or older you may keep 2 or 3 years or report packages but remove any that are older than that annually.

All the indivudual reports that you can specifically configure with your own settings in Reporting Defaults. These are useful to help accountants find specific information or for your accounting/audit workpapers. |
A group of single report in the order of your choice. Usually the reports you give to your client like the financial statements. You can include Custom Reports as part of a report package. |
