This feature allows users to reference source documents to specific line items in the Trial Balance live report and create a fully referenced workpaper pack, which can be handed over to the auditor.
Cloudoffis Sorted Lite, is a basic version of Cloudoffis Sorted Professional and Enterprise compliance solutions. Cloudoffis Sorted integrates with Class Super. The integration saves time by allowing users to upload supporting documents directly within the Class Trial Balance rather than having to work in two separate systems. At the end of the year, a complete file can be generated and sent straight to the auditor via a free portal.
Class Workpapers powered by Cloudoffis will allow you to:
- Create a workpaper file for each fund you hold on Class
- Upload any supporting documents directly to line items in the Class Trial Balance
- Tag documents to line items in the Class Trial Balance
- Generate and finalise your workpaper file at the end of the year
- Send a complete file with all supporting documents directly to an auditor

Only users with full read and write permission will be able to view the access buttons in Class. However, should you chose to share a direct link to a Cloudoffis file directly with an auditor who has access to that particular fund in Class, they will be able to perform all the actions any other user can perform in Cloudoffis.
Integration Setup in Class
Contact your systems administrator with the relevant permissions to authorise the integration. In Class, only users with the role of Access Controller and/or Administrator will be able to activate the integration.
Navigate to Business Level Settings > Integrations Settings
- Class will display 'Cloudoffis'
- Click on Activate to start the authorisation process - if you don't see the Activate button, reach out to us at accountmanagement@class.com.au and we will help you.
- The Cloudoffis activation screen will open in a new tab:
- On the authorisation screen confirm Allow access. If you have access to several Class accounts a drop-down will prompt you to select the Class account you wish to activate this feature for, ensure you select the corresponding business that you started the activation from.
- Enter your name, business ABN, accept the Terms and click Get Register
- The Cloudoffis Sorted Lite feature is now activated for your business. The Class screen will now display the option to 'Upgrade' to Cloudoffis Sorted Professional or Enterprise.
A business in Class can only be connected to one single Cloudoffis Sorted account. You need to ensure you select the same Business code that you launched the Cloudoffis activation from in the authorisation screen dropdown.
Using the integration
To get started using Cloudoffis Sorted Lite:
Navigate to Fund Level > Reports > Live Reports > Trial Balance
Uploading Documents
To start a workpaper file for your fund, you will need to start uploading documents to the Trial Balance.
In the Class Trial Balance Screen:
- Click on 'Documents'
- Select 'Upload'
- Cloudoffis Sorted Lite will open in a new tab.
- Select or drag and drop all fund documents here and the upload will automatically start.
- Wait until all documents have been uploaded before closing the tab by clicking 'Close'.
Tagging documents to line items
To start referencing source documents to the Class Trial Balance:
Navigate to Fund Level > Reports > Live Reports > Trial Balance
- Click on the magnifying glass icon, which will appear when you hover over either the name or the balance of a line item.
- Cloudoffis Sorted Lite will open in a new tab.
- Cloudoffis will automatically suggest documents that contain the respective balance or name which you selected in step 1.
- To tag a document select the 'bookmark' icon and drop a bookmark next to the area of the document you want to tag.
- Select the line item you want to tag this document to. You can also enter a comment if required.
- Repeat this step for as many documents as you would like to reference to this line item.
- Go back to the Class Trial Balance screen and select the next line item and repeat all steps.
Cloudoffis will automatically download 19 Financial reports from Class. If you wish to reference these to the respective sections in the trial balance and include them in the audit pack, follow the same steps outlined above to tag these to the respective line items.
For the Cloudoffis Sorted Lite version, a total data storage limit of 50MB applies. For a large number of documents or funds, we recommend upgrading to Cloudoffis Sorted Professional or Enterprise.
Finalising the workpapers at year-end
To finalise your compliance checks at the end of the year and send the complete file to the fund auditor:
Navigate to Fund Level > Periodic Processing > Period Updates
- Select the Financial Year you want to work on.
- Click on 'Finalise Workpapers'
- Cloudoffis Sorted Lite will open in a new tab.
- Ensure all Documents are uploaded and tagged to line items.
- Send your file to your auditor: Generate and Download a ZIP file with a PDF report including all referenced documents which are attached in one organised folder.
Business and Fund-Level Dashboards
To quickly access your files at both the Business and Fund level in Class, a Cloudoffis launcher is available alongside existing shortcuts in the Navigation bar.
At the business level, clicking on the Cloudoffis Icon will launch a Cloudoffis screen, showing all the Workpaper files in progress for this fund and allowing you to open their DMS from within this screen.
The Business level dashboard is only available to users who have been granted business level access. Users with access to only a sub-set of funds will not be able to utilise this feature.
At the Fund level, clicking on the Cloudoffis Icon will launch a Cloudoffis screen, showing the DMS folders and most recent workpaper file in progress. Click on View Documents to open the DMS.
