New Features
Payday Super
-
Member Verification Request: Class now automatically responds to a Member Verification Request (MVR), a pre-check the ATO requires as part of Payday Super.
- Action required: ensure that new funds are loaded to Class early and that fund and member details are correct, so the MVR can be responded to successfully. See the MVR troubleshooting guide here if you run into issues.
-
New Payment Platform (NPP) details for bank accounts: You can now record New Payment Platform (NPP) details against each bank account, giving you a place in Class to document this information for Payday Super.
- Action required: each fund must have an NPP-enabled bank account so employers can pay Payday Super contributions using NPP. Check whether a bank supports NPP on the Australian Payment Plus website here.
- NPP for rollovers: NPP is optional for Rollovers. For Rollovers to APRA-regulated funds, the Rollover message now displays NPP-enabled status alongside a PayID field if PayID is enabled. Where NPP is supported, trustees can choose to use it as a payment method.
- Payday Super overview: Refer to the FAQ page here for additional details on Payday super.
Moomoo Securities: Class now supports a new data feed for Moomoo Securities, covering daily cash, trade data, and foreign holdings. Refer to the user guide here for activation steps.
Enhancements
Div 296 Cost Base Adjustments
- Div 296 Capital Gain/Loss for Custom Holding accounts: For Custom Holding accounts set up as one-line wraps, you can now manually record the Div 296 capital gain/loss. Class automatically captures and calculates the Div 296 CGT for other investment types, details here.
- 30 June 2026 Transitioning funds: Funds with a transition date of 30 June 2026 can record their cost base adjustment decision directly in Class. Once recorded, you'll be able to generate the ATO-prescribed form from Class when it becomes available.
Intelligent Adjustments (Beta)
- Rounding residuals removed: Income events matched via Intelligent Matching are no longer left as partially matched due to a rounding residual.
- Foreign exchange and TFN withholding now adjusted: This is in additional to payment dates and net AUD amounts which were already adjusted when matching Business Events. You can find out more here.
MLC data feed: Cash transactions for transfers in and out are now supported for MLC.
AMP North: Cash transaction narratives for AMP North have been improved to align with Intelligent Matching, making it easier to match transactions automatically.
FinClear CBOE exchange support: Now supports securities listed on the CBOE exchange.
Fixes
Single Sign-On (SSO) issue: Resolved an issue where some users logging in via SSO couldn't view certain information in Connect share registries and the Class Document Management System (DMS). More details on SSO here.
CloudOffis Trial Balance amount search: Resolved an issue where the Trial Balance amount search wasn't working correctly in CloudOffis.
Merge field TaxableIncomeLoss: Resolved an issue where the [TaxableIncomeLoss] merge field double-counted concessional contributions already included in the taxable income calculation.
Duplicate interest income events: Resolved an issue where interest income events for certain ASX-listed debt and bond securities (e.g. MA2HA and RAMHA) were duplicated when a broker feed balance was present.
- Action required: If duplicates were created before this fix, you'll need to identify and remove them. Go to Browse Events and look for interest income events with the same date and amount, then review and manually delete any duplicates.
