New Features
Share Registry Integration
You can now access share registry documents directly in Class for MUFG, Computershare and unlisted securities for Automic instead of logging in to each registry and checking each individual holding.
- MUFG Direct Connect Documents: Monthly documents including holding statements, dividend statements and tax statements are now supported. See MUFG registry documents for more details.
- Computershare Direct Connect Documents: Monthly documents including dividend statements and distribution statements are now supported. See Computershare registry documents for more details.
- Automic Unlisted Securities: The registry feed now extends coverage for unlisted securities, adding coverage for 800 additional securities in addition to the existing ASX securities. Monthly balances, ownership details as well as Direct Connect Documents are all supported for unlisted securities. See Connecting to Unlisted Securities for more details.
Action required: Check that your Share Registry Connections are already configured, see Connecting a share registry if you haven't set it up already for a fund.
Feeds API 1.0: You can now set up and manage data feeds without using the Class interface manually for each step. The Feeds API supports listing feed products, creating a feed, uploading the signed authority form, and reading feed and feed detail information.
Transactions Loader API 1.0: You can now load Business Events from the Excel Transaction Loader programmatically instead of manually. This includes Bank and Custom Holding account transactions, investment movements (buys and sells), income events such as distribution tax statements, and expense events. Load files at business or fund level, and check the status, errors and results for each one.
Enhancements
Commonwealth Bank feed upgrade: The Commonwealth Bank feed now delivers improved data quality including more detailed transaction descriptions, and adds support for Term Deposits. Term Deposits reinvested at maturity keep the same account number.
Action required: Set up Term Deposits as a Bank account rather than a Term Deposit product and follow the existing authority process.
Report Updates
The following changes only appear in the 'latest' report versions.
- Investment allocation report: A new Summary parameter generates a chart-only version of the report, without the detailed allocation breakdown, so you can share concise, high-level reporting with stakeholders.
- Activity statement preparation report: The report now includes additional fields to make it easier to review transactions. The Date column shows when each transaction occurred, and the GST Percentage column lets you quickly see what percentage of total GST has been claimed, to support reconciliation activities.
Tax lodgement status API: Trusts are now supported for tax lodgement status and lodgement history, more details here.
Div 296 Reports API: The Div 296 Cost base Adjustment Analysis report and Minute/Resolution can now be requested via the API, details here.
Accolade Portfolio - Canaccord: Foreign Trade data are now supported in the automated feed, more details here.
Fixes
Pension drawdowns for pre-1 July 2007 pension accounts: Resolved an issue where drawdowns on pre-1 July 2007 pension accounts didn't take the PAYG amount into account. You can now process a drawdown with PAYG withheld successfully.
SuperStream contributions: Resolved an issue where only one contribution was loaded when multiple contributions were received for the same fund on the same day.
