Why does the "Unknown" category show in the Investment Allocation report?

Cause

Any investments taking up as "Unlisted Markets" under Market Type for reporting categories are classified as the "Unknown" category in the Investment Allocation report.

Resolution

To resolve this issue, you need to identify the investment holding account with the Unknown asset category using the Investment Allocation report, then update the asset allocation.

Identify the investment holding account which has an Unknown asset category

Navigate to Fund Level > Reports > Run Report 

1. Select Investment Allocation
2. Enter the Report Date
3. Click on Run or Preview
4. From the report, scroll down to subsequent pages which will show the breakdown.
