Issue
Due to a decrease in Market Valuation this year, the loss generated during the year has been allocated to the accumulation account, which makes the Accmulation account go negative.
I cannot continue processing the fund with a negative accumulation account balance.
How can I allocate the loss to the member's pension accounts, so I can continue processing the fund?
Resolution
Navigate to the Fund level > Period Update > Select the Financial Year
- Click on View/Rollback
- Click on Allocate Benefits to Members
- Click on Edit
- Adjust member benefit allocation to cover the negative accumulation balance of $80,327.09, as the following screenshot
- Click Save
