Issue

A Period Update has been run and a modified event is posted in the financial year. When I try to delete it, the below error is generated:

Event cannot be deleted because a period update has been run. Please rollback the period update first.

How do I delete it without rolling back the Period Update?

 Resolution

To resolve this issue:

1. Change the accounting date and payment date of the transaction to some date in the current financial year.
2. Click on Submit
3. Click on Delete
