I've made changes to the fund settings and fund policy. Do I need to do anything else?
Resolution
Yes, you would need to resubmit the events that are relevant to the changes made. For example, if the 'Defer Member Tax' option under the Fund Policy was updated to 'No', the contribution events would have to be resubmitted or reprocessed.
Navigate to Fund level > Transactions > Browse Events
- Group all business events by 'Type' (this makes it easier to track all the affected business events)
- Click on the Business Event you want to edit
- From the pop-up screen, click on Edit
- Click on Save as Incomplete
- Click on Submit
If a period update or tax finalisation was processed prior to updating or changing the fund policy or fund settings, you would need to roll them back and reprocess them.
