Period Update warning message: A prior period balance currently exists in Unallocated Member Entitlements

 Explanation

This is caused by business events processed after a period update was run for that period and these business events become Modified Events. It requires your professional judgement on whether or not to roll back the period update to fix this issue.  

The reminder message will not stop you running the period update.
