Issue
When I click on "Save" on the Prior Year Operating Statement under the Load Opening Balance page, the following error message appears.
"EventDocument does not conform to the EventType's schema: The element 'BeneficiaryDistributionItems' has incomplete content. List of possible elements expected: 'BeneficiaryDistributionItem"
Cause
This error message appears when the beneficiary has not been setup correctly in Class Trust.
Resolution
Step 1: Create a dummy beneficiary
Step 2: Update the information on Prior Year operating Statement
Step 3: Delete the dummy beneficiary
Step 1: Create a dummy beneficiary
Navigate to Fund level > Fund > Beneficiaries> Add New Beneficiary > Person or Organisation
Refer to Adding a New Beneficiary for detailed steps.
Step 2: Update the information on Prior Year Operating Statement
Navigate to Fund > Load Opening Balances > Prior Year Operating Statement
- Fill in relevant amount
- Click on Save
- The error should no longer appear
Step 3: Delete the dummy beneficiary
Navigate to Fund level > Fund > Beneficiaries Tab > Browse Beneficiaries
- Click on the dummy beneficiary
- Click on Delete
