This page will guide you on the required next steps if you receive any of the following SuperStream Rollovers & Release Authorities emails:
Release Authority Request
- Click on Click Here in the Release Authority Request email:
- If you are not logged in, you will be redirected to the Release Authority details screen in Class and asked to login.
- Notify the Trustees that a Release Authority Request has been received and provide them with the Bank Account Details and Payment Reference Number. Trustees will be required to make the EFT payment to the ATO. Please ensure that Payment Reference Number is included in the description field.
- Once the Trustees confirm that the payment has been made, you can click on Confirm payment in the Release Authority details screen.
- The 'Confirm payment' message will be displayed to ensure the payment has been made and inform you that the associated business event will be created and cannot be deleted once click on Confirm payment. When you click on Confirm payment, a confirmation message can be sent to the ATO. The Release Authority event will be automatically generated by Class.
- If the Release Authority Request is not valid, click on Reject release authority in the Release Authority details screen.
- Select the reason for rejection so that a cancellation message can be sent to the ATO:
- Member Not Fund
- Member No Longer Active (member has left the fund or passed away)
- Defined Benefit or Non-Commutable Income Stream
- Money cannot be released for other reasons
Release Authority Types Supported in SuperStream
The following types of Release Authority are supported in SuperStream:
- First home super saver scheme
- Excess concessional contributions
- Excess non-concessional contributions
- Excess non-concessional contributions tax
- Div 293 tax
- Div 293 tax deferred debt
Rollover Out Request
- Click on Click Here in the Rollover Out Request email:
- You will be redirected to the Rollover Out details screen in Class and asked to login if you are not already logged in.
- Notify the Trustees that a Rollover Out Request has been received and provide them with the Bank Account Details and Payment Reference Number. Trustees will be required to make the EFT payment to the Receiving Fund. Please ensure that Payment Reference Number is included in the description field.
- Once the Trustees confirm that the payment has been made, click on Confirm Payment in the Rollover Out details screen so that a confirmation message can be sent to the Receiving Fund. The Rollover Out event will be automatically generated by Class.
- If the Rollover Out Request is not valid, click on Cancel the rollover in the Rollover Out details screen.
- Select reason of rejection so that a cancellation message can be sent to the Receiving Fund:
- Member Not Found (member does not exist)
- Member No Longer Active (member has left the fund or passed away)
- Rollover Process Unsuccessful (any other reasons)
Rollover In Request
- Click on Click Here in the Rollover In Transaction email:
- You will be redirected to the Rollover In details screen in Class and asked to login if you are not already logged in.
- The Rollover In Transaction will be automatically generated in Class based on the details in the Request.
- Ensure that the Rollover In Payment has been received by the Fund Bank Account and that it has been matched to the Rollover In Transaction.
- If the Rollover In is matched to cash, click on Confirm rollover in the Rollover In details screen so that a confirmation message can be sent to the Transferring Fund.
- If the Rollover In Payment has not been received by the Fund Bank Account, click on Reject rollover in the Rollover In details screen.
- Select the reason for rejection so that a cancellation message can be sent to the Transferring Fund:
- Payment Not Received
- Member No Longer Active (member left the fund or passed away)
