Documents classified as “Other Statement” must be manually reviewed by users to ensure they are correctly categorised, as they fall under the unsupported document model and are not automated in VMR.
While some “Other Statement” documents may appear in the 'Ready' queue if AI successfully extracts and matches data to the VMR lookup, most are flagged as 'Errors' or 'Concerns' in the dashboard.
Regardless of their queue placement, users must review and manually update the classification from “Other Statement” to the correct document category.
Scenario One
The document loaded into VMR is a "Tax Statement." It is automatically classified into the correct category, which includes automatic data extraction and account mapping. This document category is currently supported within VMR's document classification model.
The user can view the document from the VMR dashboard under the Human in the Loop (HITL) section of the solution by navigating to the Classified or Ready menu.
The user then clicks on the PDF within the Classified or Ready menu. The Document Type is visible or change the automated document type to the relevant Document Category. Manual classification or account mapping is not required for the eight document types currently supported in VMR’s document classification model.
Scenario Two
Documents received in the solution that fall outside the supported model are initially classified as “Other Statement.” At this stage, a total of 95 document types remains unsupported.
The User must open PDF of any document classified as "Other Statement" from the Classified, Ready, or Errors menu to manually update its classification to the correct document category.
The document classified as "Other Statements" in the screenshot above is a "Director Consent." The VMR user changes the document type from "Other" to the relevant document category, clicks the SAVE button to confirm the new document type, and performs account mapping if the AI is unable to extract raw data under Extraction Details. In such cases, the VMR User must manually map data points from the source document to Update Details.
