Question
What’s the difference between the created date and the classified date on the VMR dashboard?
Answer
The VMR Dashboard provides two key date filters to help you track document processing: Created Date and Classified Date. These filters allow you to view documents at different stages of the automation workflow.
Created Date
Purpose:
The Created Date represents the point in time when documents are initially loaded into VMR.
How to Navigate:
- Select Created Date.
- Choose the desired date from the Date Filter.
- Click Submit.
What You See:
- Documents loaded during the selected time interval will appear under Documents Classified > Loaded.
- When documents are uploaded into VMR either electronically (via email or direct feed) or physically (via locked bags) they are first placed in a queue for AI processing.
- At this stage, documents are marked as Queued Documents until the AI system completes backend automation tasks, including:
- Document classification into correct categories
- Data extraction
- Automated mapping
Classified Date
Purpose:
The Classified Date represents the point in time when documents have been processed and classified by the AI system.
How to Navigate:
- Select Classified Date.
- Choose the desired date from the Date Filter.
- Click Submit.
What You See:
- The number of documents processed and released from the queue will appear under the Classified section of the dashboard.
- Classification includes:
- AI-driven categorisation of documents
- Data extraction
- Automated mapping
- Confidence accuracy checks
The date and time stamps under the Loaded and Classified menus represent the Created Date, when documents were loaded into VMR, and the Classified Date, when the AI backend-initiated completion of automation tasks.
