The file is classified as the correct document type. Data such as system and investment tags, are automated, but custom tags are excluded from automation. Why is this?

Resolution

Custom tags are user-generated and vary across all business entities registered in Class. They are created by Class users at the fund level (fund documents), but are applicable to all funds within the business scope. These custom tags are derived from the Class business into the VMR business instance under the Tags lookup, but are not mapped to any document types.

Since the custom tags are user-generated and differ across all business entities registered in the Class system, the platform allows users to manually select the existing custom tags derived from Class in the VMR Tags lookup and tag them to the file if necessary.

Steps to add Custom Tags manually

1. Navigate to VMR dashboard
2. Refer to Human in the Loop (HITL) section
3. Click on any menus such as Classified, Ready, or Errors
   
4. Select the document type
5. Type Custom in the Tags lookup
6. Manually select the Custom Tag relevant to the document type
   
7. Click save
