How do I process Genea Limited demerger to Biocell Holdco share? 

Resolution

To resolve this issue, manually:

Step 1: Process the Demerger

Step 2: Process the Dividend and Capital Call

Process the Demerger

Navigate to Fund Level > Transactions > Investment-Corporate Action > Take Over or Merger

1. Create the Demerger corporate action

Refer to our User Guide for detailed steps on Manual Corporate Actions.

Process the Dividend and Capital Return

Navigate to Fund Level > Transactions > Investment -Corporate Action > Capital Call

1. Select Biocell as the Investment Account
2. Enter all relevant fields
3. Click on Submit

Navigate to Fund Level > Transactions > Fund Income > Dividend - Cash

1. Create the Dividend Cash event with the same amount as the Capital Call event.

Navigate to Fund Level > Transactions > Match Transactions

1. Match off the Capital Call event and the Dividend - Cash Event
