Issue

Tax return validation error message states: total current year capital losses amount is incorrect. How do I resolve this issue?

Cause

There is a negative Capital Loss.

Resolution

Navigate to Fund Level > Transactions > Browse Events

1. Group all business events by Type
2. Click on Realised Accounting Gain/Loss
   
   
   
   
3. From the pop-up screen, review the Capital loss Field
4. If the Capital Loss Field is with a negative amount, e.g. $5,084.35, update the figure to be positive, i.e. $5,084.35.
