A Business Contact is either a person or organisation that has a relationship with the funds on Class, but are generally not Class users. They are usually required to be set up as they will appear as a signatory on a report such as an Auditor or a Tax Agent.
- This functionality is used to create non-Class users including advisers, tax agents and auditors.
- To set up access for Class Administrators, please refer to the article on Maintain Users. This function is only available for Access Controllers.

Tax Agent Considerations
If the lodging entity is a business, you do not need to create an organisation contact. Simply create the individual and you can add the company's ABN and Tax Agent Number to the individual's details. This is correct as the tax agent person is an authorised representative of the company in most cases.
If the lodging entity is an individual then you do not need to create an organisation contact.

Once the tax agent contact has been created, please refer to Setting up SBR Lodgment for your Tax Agent page.
