The latest copy of the Excel Fund Loader has not been used

Download a fresh copy 

Refer to the User Guide on Excel Fund Loader Introduction

On Fund tab, the brand name is entered instead of brand code

Navigate to Fund level > Settings > Brand Details

1. Check the Brand Code
2. Enter the Brand Code into the Loader

Brand Code should be one word

On Fund tab, the fund name is entered instead of Fund Code

Enter the Fund Code

• Fund Code must be unique
• Fund Code should be one word

Data has been copy/pasted into the Excel Fund Loader. This has overwritten the underlying macros

Refer to KB article on How to copy and paste in an Excel Transaction Loader

Cells, rows or columns have been deleted, moved or inserted. This has corrupted the Excel Fund Loader as there is conditional formatting behind most of the cells

1. Download a fresh copy of the Excel Fund Loader
2. Copy the data from the old Loader
3. Paste the data into the new Loader

Spaces are included when entering data on the Account Code column

Remove the space in Account Code

The bank account code is set up differently in the Fund in Class

Enter the Bank Account Code 

User created holdings have not been set up in Class 

If the security has not been setup, refer to User Guide Unlisted Security Set-Up for detailed steps.

The market type selected is incorrect

Make sure you have selected the correct market type (i.e. if you have selected listed security as the market type, it must have an ASX code as the security issue code)

Amounts from another source are copy/pasted onto the loader but have more than 2 decimal places for Dollar Amount Field.

• Dollar Amount field should have only 2 decimal places
• Unit field should have only 4 decimal places

Reference Code Type is not selected as HIN/SRN, but Holding Reference Code entered as Broker/Wrap/HIN/SRN number

Ensure that the holding reference code entered and the reference code type selected match.
