Issue

Why are the beneficiary details are not listed in the "Your Beneficiaries" section for some Pension accounts on the Member Statement.

Cause

This can be caused by:

Scenario 1: The detailed beneficiary information has not been recorded in "Beneficiary Details".

Scenario 2: The Reversionary Beneficiary Name has not been recorded in "Pension Details". 

Resolution

To resolve this issue:

Scenario 1: Enter the beneficiary information in "Beneficiary Details"

Scenario 2: Record the Reversionary Beneficiary Name in "Pension Details"

Record detailed beneficiary information in "Beneficiary Details" in the fund

Navigate Fund Level > Members > Browse Members

1. Click on the Member's name 
2. From the member detail screen, click on the "Beneficiary Details" tab
   
   

It will be reflected in the "Your Beneficiaries" section in the Member Statement. 

Example:

Record Reversionary Beneficiary Name in "Pension Details" in the fund

Navigate to Fund Level > Members Member > Browse Members 

1. Click into the required pension account/s
2. From the pension detail screen, click on "Edit"
3. From the pop-up screen, click on "View Establishment Details"
4. Click on the "Pension Details" tab
5. Complete "Reversionary Beneficiary Name" field
6. Click on Save
   
    
   

It will be reflected in the "Your Beneficiaries" section in the Member Statement. 

Example:

If there is a Reversionary Beneficiary Name recorded in the "Pension Details" tab for a pension account, the 'Your Beneficiaries' section in the Member Statement will only pick up the Reversionary Beneficiary Name rather than the information recorded in the Beneficiary Details.
