Welcome to the August edition of Class FAQs. In this issue, we provide essential tips for setting up and organising your annual report package, including how to use electronic signatures for sending document and collecting signature in more seamless and efficient way. We also share key issues on managing your data feeds effectively.
Report Package
When setting up or doing the annual housekeeping of report packages for the new financial year, here are some useful tips to consider:

Maintaining Report packages: Clone your report packages for the new financial year via Maintain Report packages and save them with new FY dates, and remove the old report packages. You can also add your own report as Custom Report.
- Modifying Report Package: You can add in additional new report for FY24 under the reports tab- Annual Return Trust Income Schedule to the existing report package.
- Index Page: Class provide automated table of content for report packages. To include this table of content, under Summary, set Include Index page as "Yes" from Maintain Report package to provide well-structured overview of your report's content including page numbers allowing your clients to navigate the report quickly and easily.
- White Label: You can incorporate your company or brand logos into the report and assign a fixed signature to your SMSF Compilation Report via the white label feature. To ensure the logo appears in your reports, make sure the Report Header setting is defaulted to "Yes" in the common settings.
- Cover Page: Class offers a standard cover page that can be included in the report package. In the report package settings summary, you can position the standard cover page on the front page or in a selected order. However, if you've created a custom cover page, it cannot be positioned before the index page.
Electronic Signature
Class integrates with DocuSign to provide electronic signature solution to get report package distributed and signed electronically in a seamless and efficient manner. Electronic Signatures only supports PDF format.
Here are some of the useful information on sending document for signature.
- Set Signing Order: Adjust the signing order to streamline the process for you and your clients by clicking to arrange the routing sequence as needed.
- Add Security Verification: Enhance security for the trustee in the electronic signature report package by enabling an access code or SMS verification
- Track Signature Status: Monitor the status of electronic signatures using the signature tracking console, available at both the business and fund levels.
- Edit or Remove Signatories: You can edit or remove a signatory from pending envelopes via the signature tracking console.
Data Feeds Setup

- Data Feeds Status: Stay informed with real-time updates on any issues with your data feeds by visiting the Data Feeds Status page

- Unbalanced Macquarie/Hub24: If your Macquarie or Hub24 feeds are unbalanced or missing transactions, utilize the Request History button to fill in the gaps seamlessly.
- Macquarie ID requirement: As part of the setup process for the Macquarie Cash feed, you may receive an automated request from Macquarie asking for a copy of your driver's license or passport. You can safely ignore the request as this will not affect the functionality of the feed.
